Having seen the changes in Alberta through the last fifty years we understand the importance of preserving the past for future generations. The Beiseker Railway Museum is working towards this goal. Support from the railway community will help preserve the history of railroad memorabilia to inure it's not lost or destroyed. This museum is restoring the abandoned rail line and preserving antique rail cars. Building a replica of the original CN station at Beiseker is one of the exciting projects slated for the museum site. This building will house displays, workshops and meeting rooms. The society is collecting railroad memorabilia, pictures, books, rail cars and train antiques for future displays.Get involved and preserve this valuable piece of Alberta history for future generations. Visit our web site (www.alberta2005rail.com) to see the conceptual drawings of both the museum and the trails throughout the site.
