MSP Available for comments at Village officeThe Village of Beiseker Municipal Sustainability Plan has its first working draft out now. People in the community who are interested in the long term sustainability of Beiseker are encouraged to pick up a copy and have their say. Copies are available at the village office. Please be advised that the document is the official WORKING DOCUMENT. That is to say, it is not the final draft, nor is it the only policy document guiding Beiseker’s development and future. It is a strategy document that outlines short, medium and long term goals and is led by citizens. Its purpose is to provide a general strategic direction for the municipality and to serve as another forum for citizens to voice their concerns. The Beiseker Sustainability Advisory Committee has identified key strategy areas for the municipality to look at and the group has further identified some key actions to take in order to bring Beiseker closer to its ideal vision of itself.People who would like to comment on the MSP should do so electronically by e-mail - or submit them at the village office, by June 25, 2010.Thank you to the citizens who have made submissions regarding the draft MSP.
