Public Works Operator - The job description will include: working within a team environment, have an operational and maintenance working knowledge of all Village equipment, assist with all repairs and maintenance of Village owned land, buildings and equipment as required, assist the Village Foreman with water breaks, sewer back-ups, water meter readings, weekly garbage and recycling pick up and any other tasks deemed necessary. The successful candidate must have a Class 3 Driver's License, Q Endorsement, Grade 12 or GED equivalent, have the ability to work independently, possess excellent customer service and public relations skills and be mechanical oriented. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess the following: previous experience in municipal operations, water/waste water certificate, and experience running heavy equipment.
